Letters and reports to Philadelphia Society for Promoting Agriculture, 1819-1821.

Five items are reports, resolutions, and extracts from the minutes of the Curators of the Philadelphia Society for Promoting Agriculture. One dated February 14, 1820 is a testimonial concerning the threshing machine of Pitt Hambly. Three items are letters to the Society on agricultural subjects: on the cultivation of red potatoes, on raising turnips amongst Indian corn, on substituting rye straw for manure in the culture of potatoes. One item is a letter to Richard Wistar about a geological survey.
